Philo Festival of Media Arts Award Winning Programs:
Community producer Dave Chappell took home two awards; an Excellence in Editing and first place for his Festifools and FoolMoon video in the community event non-professional category.
• CTN’s public and education staff and volunteers won first place in the religious professional category for Access Ann Arbor: Center of Light featuring Revered Selena Lusca’s from Ann Arbor's Centers of Light.
• CTN producer Tim Nagae won first place for Senior Moments in the senior professional category featuring host Connie Craft from the Ann Arbor Senior Center and Ira Lax from the Ann Arbor District Library.
• CTN’s summer interns Korrine, Kailani, Phil & Renea placed as finalists in the magazine program non-professional category for Touring Tree Town
• CTN producer Tim Nagae and the Ann Arbor Sunday Artisan Market placed as a finalist in the promo three minutes or more professional category for the Ann Arbor Sunday Artisan Market Promo.
•  CTN producer and host Dana Denhawon honorable mention in the magazine format series for FYI featuring segments on the Ann Arbor’s Parks and Recreation Give 365 programUofM’s Million Hoodie March for Trayron Martin and the Birds of Prey at Leslie Science and Nature Center.
• CTN Producer Tim Nagae won honorable mention in the senior category for Senior Moments November 2012. This program featured an interview with host Connie Craft and Carl Rothfuss, instructor of a woodcarving class at the Pittsfield Township Senior Center.
