Hello, and welcome to CTN’s a2ikog podcast,
Keeping Ann Arbor in the Know on the Go,
Thank you so much for joining us!
I’m your host, Rebecca Rhodes.
April showers bring May flowers! At least that’s my mantra for getting through all of this rain…
I know you’re hanging tough with our exciting Michigan weather—but take heart! It won’t be long Ann Arbor! Next time you have to *sigh* once again wield that umbrella; just envision the beautiful botanical bliss that awaits us on the other side of these dark and stormy days. Hey, and at least it’s not more….no, I dare not even speak the name of that wintry precipitation, of which we’ve finally seen the last!
No, let’s move on and see what CTN is airing to keep the cabin fever at bay this May as we brace for lighter, brighter days!
Attention Ann Arborites! Synchronize your watches for Operation M.O.M.!

Interested in producing your own TV show? How about learning how to work the equipment in a TV studio and work behind the scenes to help other people get their shows on the air?
You may expect to pay a great deal of money to gain such technical skill via hands-on experience, but that’s not the case at CTN! No sir!
CTN offers free—that’s right, free television production classes for Ann Arbor residents and representatives of Ann Arbor non-profit organizations! Your opportunity to dive in and get your feet wet is coming up with our Preview Session on Monday, May 9 from 6-7 PM
This Preview, which includes a tour of our studios, will give you a feel for the inner-workings of CTN and help put you on the road to getting your work on the air. Call 734.794.6150, ext. 0 to sign-up, or email us at email@example.com.
CTN Offices will be closed on Monday, May 30th for the Memorial Day Holiday, so use that time you would have spent in studio honoring the memories of those who have given their lives in service to our country, preserving our freedoms—including the freedom of speech we exercise in our lives and on the air every day!
Oh, and Mother’s Day is right around the corner on May 8th, so don’t forget to find your own special way to let mom know how much she means to you! Make Mom a homemade card! Call! Visit! Skype! However you do it, make it happen, for all the ways she’s made it happen for you over the years!
Well, that wraps the ribbon ‘round this Maypole!
